ELEVATIONS - NORTH WALL STUDY
I'm making a very powerful statement with the horizontal and vertical elements introduced to this elevation. Serving functional purposes and also working to both frame and divide the elevation they respond will with my spereation of space and purpose from my original Parti. The first element is the vertical bronze edge along the Northwest face. This like the front curtain wall elevation are very noticeable and strong ties to the vertical edge or termination. The windows pulling off this material will be tinted slightly and have frames matching the same color. I'm drawing the traveling eye to and from this edge to prepare for the next indication of space. The horizontal bands toward the center are actually louvers for my mechanical space. 4 squares in a row, and two rows ber mechanical room allow for plenty of fresh air to my AC units. I like the subtle but clearly identified gesture on this face without diminishing the property of this solid dramatic building form.

Matt,
Is the image really big? It is taking forever to load both small and enlarged. The enlarged version isn't opening all the way. I don't know if it is the image or if the school's network is bogged down tonight. it looks pretty good but I really want to enlarge it so I can check out some areas I'm unsure about. The turbine's at the tope through me a bit. Not what I was expecting, but I need to look closer. I'll check back in the AM to see if it is the network.
I think Blogger is going slow tonight. I have the same problems. BUT all my images load. School's network?
They are loading fine for me.
Great shots. Your going to have to slow down, the bar is going to high to fast!!! LOL
Matt,
That is off the hook brother! The bar just exploded. Great work, man this site is too steep, I've been working on my 3d model and ran into quite a bit of challenges with the north part of the terrain.
Is anyone going to the office these days?
Eddie,
thanks for the comments. I've been checking your site... haven't seen anything since your videos. How are things coming? I've found Yoda if you didn't see. Check him out!
Everyday... 9-10 hrs a day. Rough 2 week needless to say.
Ok they are loading this morning. I was talking about the college's network that we live on. We live on campus and sometimes the network is slow. I'm sure it will be bad this weekend b/c we have a snow storm and everyone will be inside! Anyway... I think the project looks great. My ONLY issue is the turbine's. I don't know if it is the way it is rendered... but to me it looks like there is an enlarged decorative spindel rail at the top of your building. It seems like it doesn't fit. Does it need the cap on it? Maybe if they were exposed more (I don't know much about them so this may not be possible) it would seem to fit in more. Just my opinion. Sounds like the others are happy, so you can choose to ignore me! :) Good work Matt as always!
